Eyelash viper (Bothriechis shlegellii) - This little Central American tree viper is amazingly variable in color. The yellow variation you see here is just one of a bewildering variety of colors this snake can have - red, green, blue, pink, and various combinations thereof. The name eyelash viper derives from the small pointed scales over the eyes.
